Regional accreditation is the highest level of academic accreditation a college or university can obtain and is recognized throughout the United States.

Founded in 1889. as the first Catholic college in Florida, Saint Leo is a four-year university located on 170 rolling acres near Lake Jovita, just north of Tampa, FL. Saint Leo has established centers on 13 military bases in five states and created agreements with 11 community colleges. In fact, Saint Leo University is one of the largest Catholic institutions of higher education in the United States, and one of the largest providers of education to active military service members serving more than 9,500 students worldwide. Recognized as a Top School by US News and World Report, Saint Leo offers one of the largest online business undergraduate programs in the nation.
