UMass Online is a part of the five campus University of Massachusetts system, including Amherst (pictured to the left), Boston, Dartmouth, Lowell, and Worcester. UMass online programs are designed to serve busy working adults both locally and globally. More than 140 full-degree programs and 1500 courses are currently available online.
The University of Massachusetts has been a leader in distance education for over 25 years (and The Times Higher Education World University rankings placed it among the Top 100 Universities in the World in 2015). Courses are taught by the same internationally recognized faculty as on-campus classes (including winners of the Pulitzer Prize, Nobel Prize, National Book Award for Poetry, and the Draper Award in Engineering.) Students from all over the world are eligible for admission as there is no campus residency requirement for UMass online programs.
